I lovingly tend to the soil I inhabit & am surrounded by plants - I draw a sense of belonging from the Earth. I grew up playing in the creek at the end of our street in Virginia - following the trickling water to it’s dark source where it disappeared beneath the ground - Water has always been a place where i can lose myself in a sense of wonder & calm. When i really need to clear my head, I run - always with my eyes on the horizon or skyward - this is where my body takes flight & I feel most connected to Air - my limbs working, my brain processing…but I am a Sagittarius, born of an artistic Aries mother and a combustable Leo father. My Sun, Black Moon Lilith, Mercury, Uranus, Neptune are all in Sagittarius…I have lived a life guided by what lights me up: following my heart, my soul, my passions. Though i honor balance & all elements…I am a Fire Witch.

Machine washing not recommended to preserve gold ink, she’s a spot-clean girl. All Kita goods are screenprinted in my Chicago home studio with every attempt at being a good steward to the earth. Ink is water based, items are printed in very small batches to avoid waste, using eco-friendliest cleaning/screenprinting materials, compounds & practices.
